In short

This website loads nothing from third parties. Fonts, images, stylesheets and scripts come from our own server only. No cookies are set, no analytics or tracking services are embedded, no content from external platforms is included, and no profiles are built. This is enforced by a strict Content Security Policy that blocks third-party content outright — not merely intended.

We therefore process personal data in two cases only: the access data our hosting provider records automatically when a page is requested, and whatever you send us when you write or call.

Access data and hosting

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Montabaur, Germany. The provider processes the access data as our processor; processing takes place in data centres within the European Union. No data is transferred to a third country outside the EU.

When a page is requested, the following data is written to a log file automatically:

• the IP address of the requesting device
• the date and time of the request
• the address requested and the volume of data transferred
• whether the request succeeded
• the page visited before (referrer), where the browser sends one
• the browser and operating system identifier (user agent)

Purpose, legal basis and retention of the access data

This data is technically necessary to deliver the website, to keep it running reliably, and to detect and defend against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and uninterrupted operation under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Log files are deleted after seven days at the latest, unless a specific suspicion of misuse makes it necessary to keep them longer as evidence. This data is not combined with other sources and is not evaluated for marketing purposes.

Contacting us by email or telephone

If you contact us by email or by telephone, we process what you tell us — at minimum your sender address or number and the content of your message — solely in order to deal with your request.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry concerns entering into or performing a contract, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Providing this data is voluntary; without it, however, we cannot answer you.

We delete your message once it is no longer needed for that purpose and no statutory retention period requires otherwise — for business correspondence, in particular the six- and ten-year periods under German commercial and tax law.

Links to social networks

Our footer links to our profiles on LinkedIn. These are plain links, not embedded content and not social plugins: unless you click one, no data whatsoever is transmitted to the operator of that network.

If you do follow one, your browser leaves this website. The respective provider is then solely responsible for processing your data, under its own privacy terms, over which we have no influence.

No automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

Your rights

You have the following rights in relation to us:

• access to the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
• rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
• erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
• restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
• data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
• objection to processing based on a legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR)
• withdrawal of a consent you have given, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

Right to lodge a complaint

Independently of the above, you may at any time lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your data infringes the GDPR. The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA) in Ansbach, but you may also approach the authority where you live.

Changes to this notice
